Retired univeristy professor Richard steps into the streets of his city, Berlin. Here, on Alexanderplatz, he discovers a new community - a tent city, established by African asylum seekers. Hesitantly, getting to know the new arrivals, Richard finds his life changing, as he begins to question his own sense of belonging in a city that once divided its citizens into them and us.

We dispatch pre-orders on the date the book is published. We use Royal Mail second-class in the UK, and send books via standard international delivery to the EU and the rest of the world. In the UK delivery should take 3-4 days, in the rest of the world it could be a week or two.
