It is London in the late 1930s, and into a coterie of rather grand people the 16 year old orphan Portia is plunged beyond her depth. In the midst of the rising tension, Portia experiences temporary relief in the form of a seaside jaunt.

We dispatch pre-orders on the date the book is published. We use Royal Mail second-class in the UK, and send books via standard international delivery to the EU and the rest of the world. In the UK delivery should take 3-4 days, in the rest of the world it could be a week or two.
